Kevin Toogood , 2nd dan

Kev's interest in martial arts stems from childhood. Aged 12 he practiced judo for a couple of years in his home town of Sheffield. Later, after returning from university he took up Jeet Kune Do. This was unfortunately short-lived when he realised that his instructor took most of his moves from Bruce Lee movies! Kev then discovered ju jitsu at his local sports centre and was hooked. He has been studying jujitsu since 2000, obtaining shodan in June 2004. Kev is now a 2nd Dan black belt, holds a Level 4 certificate in kobudo and BJJAGB Level 1 Coaching certificate. In addition to continuing to study jujitsu, Kev studied iaido for a year to improve his katana skills.
